Hiring someone for a six weeks out package (or partial planning) means that after you’ve done all your dreaming, planning, sourcing, tasting and the freaking out, you can hand it over and enjoy your day!

At the six weeks out mark you’ll meet your planner (normally at your venue to have a walk round), hand over all the plans that you have and talk through everything.

With my six weeks out package I’ll then create a timeline, get in touch with all your suppliers, make sure everyone is on the same page and answer any of their questions. Then you usually meet your planner two or three weeks out from your wedding date to catch up on everything and run through the plans.

When it comes to the day – you’ve got a Day of Coordinator! If I am completely honest, everyone needs a DOC! For your wedding day and rehearsal, everything needs to be kept running smoothly and with wedding parties, families, vendors and guests, that is no easy feat! Your DOC is there to make sure that the details you have poured your heart and soul into come together beautifully!

We want you (as well as your mum, grandma, in-laws, best friends and so on) to enjoy every single second of your day. Planners are there to be the go-between, answer the 1,000 questions, show the DJ where the power socket is, organise all the vendors, pick up the uncle who’s had a bit too much to drink and be the bad guy every once in a while. In the lead up to your big day, things can come up, they always do! So hiring a planner means there is someone on hand to work with your suppliers and make sure your vision comes true!

We, as planners, will be the first on site and the last to leave. Setting up, making sure everything looks great and troubleshooting throughout. Anything you need! But here are some examples of what we do:

  • Set up table plans, guest books, signage, decor, table numbers, favours etc.

  • Manage all the vendors, call them if they are late, let them know when the timeline isn’t running quite to time, change around the timeline when your hair and makeup runs late!

  • Get everyone down the aisle!

  • Orchestrate the grand entrance, pictures, cocktails, first dance, cake cutting etc. etc. etc. making sure that everything gets done but as naturally as possible.

  • Our biggest duty is being your biggest advocate for the day, we are you eyes, ears, hands and feet and we are there for you whatever goes right, or wrong!

Why wouldn’t you hire a planner for the final stages?! Honestly, we just want to help you.

My six weeks out package includes:

  • One call before the handover

  • Recommended supplier list (upon booking)

  • One handover meeting at your venue

  • One meeting 2/3 weeks before your wedding to catch up on everything

  • Unlimited support throughout the six weeks

  • 17 hours on the day

And let me let you in on a little secret… if you book the six weeks out package in 2018 you’ll get a bonus gift!

I would love to help you pull off the wedding day of your dreams! Get in touch to ask any questions, I’m always happy to chat!

Love, Anne
